The Slug Man Cometh

Recently, I performed at an event where I shared close-up magic, followed by a family friendly birthday magic and puppet show.

During my walkabout performance, an older gentleman approached me. He waited for a quiet moment and told me that since retiring, he travels his local region, giving talks on how to identify different varieties of slugs!

‘It's not the most common form of lecture, but people do seem to like it,’ he said. ‘At the end of every talk, someone always comes up to me and says, “Thank you, I really enjoyed that” and I always say, “Not half as much as I did!” And I get feeling that you're exactly the sam, Leigh. I can tell you love what you do!’

And guess what, he's absolutely right!
