‘Sorry to call so late…’

The other night I received a call, and the first thing the person said to me was ‘I'm sorry to call so late,’ it was 7pm.

I did appreciate the sentiment, but if you want to call me, call me, at almost any time. Up until 10pm, I'd say.

I did feel bad for the caller, because they felt bad.

Having said that, we live in an advanced age, so if you want to get in touch, but you feel it might be quite late, or early, then just give me a text, or an email and I'll get back to you.

But never think you're bothering me.
