Mauvaises Habitudes (Bad Habits)

Over the past few years I have picked up a real bad habit. If a child at a party says something, and I don't hear them first time, I always say 'Pardon'.

No, no. Not pardon, the way you probably read it, but pardon, with a French accent.

And if a kid approaches me unexpectedly, if I don't ‘get a fright’, I always say 'Bonjour'.

I've no idea why I do it. I don't know how or why it started. I can't seem to stop doing it… Send help!!
