The First Gig Back

On Easter Day, and the day before, I finally got to perform again. Not via the internet, not too myself in the mirror and not to my unwilling family. I performed for a real life crowd!

It was an outdoor event in Uddingston, Scotland and everyone was digitally distanced and playing by the rules.

Setting up, I was a little worried about being rusty. I worried about not having all of the same prop's and things as before, and I couldn't give anything away, or have anyone up from the audience to help me.

I shouldn't have worried. The kids laughed, the adults laughed and Chester laughed. Great times!

There was no disappointment when I didn't hand out stickers or prizes, but then, they didn't know I did that before.

The reason for this post is literally just a celebration. After a full year of no work at all, it looks like things might be getting back to normal… sort of.
