Check The Small Print

On Friday the 19th of August, I left my own Fringe show and walked along to see Stewart Lee's new show Snowflake.

I got there with five minutes to go, bought a can of Fanta and went to enter the main hall. The person checking tickets couldn't get mine to scan. We both looked closer at it… I had bought a ticket for Friday the 26th of August!

I apologized and started to leave, when suddenly an angel appeared… well, a man and a woman wearing lanyards.

The woman told me that they were part of a booking company and so they get free tickets. And then she said ‘Have one!’

I was stunned! And very grateful. I thanked them profusely, enjoyed the show and then thanked them again.

There are good people out there, just give them a chance. And check your booking details!
