‘You Can't Entertain 3-year Olds’

Maybe you can't.

I hear this all the time, ‘Kids under five won't sit and watch a show.’

Total nonsense. I've spent the last week performing at several pre-school centres and nurseries, and they have been some of the best shows I've performed.

Of course the puppets help, there's no doubt about that, but the kids laugh and gasp at the magic too… even the three year olds!

If you're a performer, don't be scared to show the little kids what you do. Funny is funny 🤷🏻‍♂️

By the way, my favourite thing about three gigs is that I sometimes get a little hand drawn picture from the kids 😊
