In contrast, adult magic shows are generally longer and more complex. They often incorporate tricks that are more sophisticated, and illusions that require more audience participation. Magicians within this genre must understand the different expectations of the adult audience, which include more intricate performances and more direct effects. Furthermore, they must also understand how to effectively build suspense and keep their audience engaged throughout the show.
