From Kicks To Tricks…

I wouldn't normally use my website to advertise other kids entertainers, but I found this really interesting.

One of my favourite movies growing up was Bloodsport, the 1988 launchpad for Jean Claude Van Damme. It's still a movie I can put on and watch almost anytime. I know it pretty much inside out and I'm fairly confident I can recite the whole movie.

I recently stumbled upon a video detailing what has become of the cast, and the very first fighter to face Van Damme's character, Frank Dux, is an Arabian fighter with a gold tooth, named Hasan.

It's a pretty quick fight. Hasan ends up with his gold tooth left lying on the canvas.

However, all these years later, this despicable, mean character (watch the movie to see what I mean) is gone, and in his place is Bernardo Mariano, the actor who portrayed him. And Bernardo is now a children's entertainer in Hong Kong!

This might only be interesting to me, but I thought it was worth sharing. If nothing else, it has hopefully got you in the mood to arrange entertainment for your next event (maybe someone closer to home 😉), or at the very least, got you in the mood to watch the 80’s classic martial-arts extravaganza, Bloodsport.
